Beginning Hand Carved Stamp Class w/ Chelsea Lorraine

Carve along with your instructor to one of two designs, a pencil or a lighthouse, and learn the basics as well as build your foundation in the first half of the class. Then, in the second half of the class try out your new skills by creating your own design! We'll also have plenty of designs to choose from if you'd rather independently carve one of those. All supplies will be provided and we intend for you to leave with two 2" x 3" rubber stamps and the foundational skills to continue on in your stamp carving and block printing journey.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Chelsea Lorraine
Chelsea Lorraine is a freelance illustrator with a focus in digital art as well as acrylic gouache. She has rarely met a craft or medium she doesn’t love, and enjoys learning to create art in many new ways with any kind of media she can get her hands on.
WORKSHOP POLICIES
We will email you a ticket for admission within 24 hours of purchase. This ticket, printed or electronic, must be shown to staff prior to the start of the workshop.
Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you. Lighthouse Paper Co. reserves the right to cancel this event due to limited attendance or staff shortage, in which a full refund will be promptly provided.
Dietary Restrictions: As part of this workshop we will provide snacks and refreshments. While we try to accommodate all attendees, please let us know of any dietary restrictions you have and we will do our best to provide alternatives.
