Join us on March 9th at 6pm for our beginners Modern Calligraphy Class. We will cover all the basics of calligraphy and lettering using a brush pen to add flair to your correspondence, art works or everyday writing.
This class includes all materials and you will also receive a take home kit containing a workbook and brush pen to continue practicing well beyond the class time. It is intended for beginners with no prior calligraphy experience or those who are looking to get back into calligraphy. And, yes, lefties are absolutely welcome too!
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Antonette Willemse
Antonette is a South African born artist who now makes the Melbourne area her home. She utilizes several Calligraphy techniques in her mixed media artwork and is a prolific oil painter and journaler.
WORKSHOP POLICIES
We will email you a ticket for admission within 24 hours of purchase. This ticket, printed or electronic, must be shown to staff prior to the start of the workshop.
Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you. Lighthouse Paper Co. reserves the right to cancel this event due to limited attendance or staff shortage, in which a full refund will be promptly provided.
Dietary Restrictions: As part of this workshop we will provide snacks and refreshments. While we try to accommodate all attendees, please let us know of any dietary restrictions you have and we will do our best to provide alternatives.
