In this beginning doodle art class, Antonette guides you through the process of using doodling and lettering as a method of relaxation and expression. You learn to create doodle letters and whimsical drawings, adding a touch of illustrated charm to words and quotes, resulting in joyful art. Students engage in drawing, lettering, painting, coloring, and journaling, creating vibrant journal pages filled with delightful colors. The workshop promises to be playful, colorful, whimsical, fresh, and fun.
Suitable for absolute beginners and anyone interested in exploring different ways to doodle for relaxation, this class invites you to discover the art of the doodle and make happy art everywhere.
The cost is $25 and all supplies are included. Registered students will take home a 6 color paint tray and brush pen.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Antonette Willemse
Antonette is a South African born artist who now makes the Melbourne area her home. She utilizes several Calligraphy techniques in her artwork and is a prolific oil painter and journaler.
WORKSHOP POLICIES
Registration for this event is required on our website (www.lighthousepaper.com) or in store at our Wickham Rd. location. Walk-ins on the day of the event will only be accepted if there is space available and the instructor has materials available. Lighthouse Paper Co. or Instructor reserves the right to refuse non-registered students if space or materials are not available.
We will email you a ticket for admission within 24 hours of purchase. This ticket, printed or electronic, must be shown to staff prior to the start of the workshop.
Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you. Lighthouse Paper Co. reserves the right to cancel this event due to limited attendance or staff shortage, in which a full refund will be promptly provided.
Dietary Restrictions: As part of some workshops we provide snacks and refreshments. While we try to accommodate all attendees, please let us know of any dietary restrictions you have and we will do our best to provide alternatives.
