Start your journey with the Passport-sized TRAVELER’S notebook starter kit in Brown. Crafted in Thailand, this notebook features a simple cow leather cover made by hand. The kit includes Designphil’s original paper, meticulously crafted in Japan. While you can begin using the notebook as is, adding a zipper case or a pen holder enhances its storage capacity. Introduce a connecting band to incorporate as many refills as you desire.

The notebook's simple structure allows for easy customization with charms and beads on the rubber band. We recommend embellishing the cover with used post stamps. This notebook offers the freedom to customize, and as you use it over time, the taste and texture of the leather mature, ensuring an evolving interaction.

Please note that, due to the nature of the leather material, each item's color, texture, and thickness will vary slightly. Every TRAVELER'S notebook is naturally dyed without excessive surface treatment to bring out its natural texture. As a result, small scratches and wrinkles may be present, adding character that we hope you will enjoy.

    Shipping policy

    All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

    There may be instances out of our control where we experience a delay in processing and shipping your order, such as inclement weather, staffing or delivery delays.  If there will be a delay in processing and shipping your order we will contact you with further information.

    Orders totaling less than $50 - Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

    Orders totaling $50 or more - Shipping charges are waived for your order and will be sent through standard shipping at no charge.

    Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Lighthouse Paper Co is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

    How do I check the status of my order?

    When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

    If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

    Shipping to P.O. boxes

    Please note that some carriers are not able to deliver shipments to US Postal Service PO Boxes.  If you wish to deliver to a PO Box, please select USPS shipping at checkout.

    Refunds, returns, and exchanges

    We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

    In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

    If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

    Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

    • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
    • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging
    • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use

    To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

    1. Reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return
    2. Print the prepaid return shipping label that you will receive by email
    3. Send all items back to us using the label provided
